They did a race version with a 500hp engine. Not sure what sort of engine but heard it was a special make and cost 200,000 US dollars.

Personally, I think that Brit did an amazing job designing this masterpiece, I'm incredibly disappointed that Brammo threw in the Ecotec P.O.S., what I would like to see is a 13b from an 87 RX7 thrown into it. I know its not nearly as powerful but I love the Rotary powerplant. It just sounds amazing.

It wont fit. In person, the car is smaller than a Mini Cooper (the newer ones).
emmber19 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
It'd be too heavy.

mayb i dont know what im talking about but ive always wondered y dosnt someone rip that engine out and put like a 4.6L v8 in there?
bolus7 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
they are back to using only Hondas and Brammo (featured in this video) isn't selling them in the US anymore(I upgraded from the supercharger to the turbo adding 100 hp in the process. Turbo is better :)

yeah well, in that case i might buy one in uk and transport it via airplane, it will not cost no more than 2 grand because they charge people for the pounds in the car/thing. they don't charge people of how many space it takes... but still 245 hp its good and the turbo sound makes it more exciting! hehe but i still think supercharger for a car like this its better than turbo... |
