OMG, I *do* know that person named (whatever) from (wherever)...I was just talking to them the other day!Seriously, hilarious video. Sadly, I've made some of these mistakes myself in the past, though I *think* I've learned better...for the most part.I admit to curiosity about before & after sometimes, but not to a total stranger or to degrade, just genuine curiosity, like any before & after shots. Video blogs like charlesasher's can show me that, though. Dumbass in recovery, maybe? :)

Wow! Absolutely wonderful and enlightening. I'm often amazed by the rudeness of strangers in everyday life and sorry for what you have to deal with. And luckily we live in an age where the majority of curiosity/need to ask stupid questions can be quenched by searching online. Let's hope some people catch on...

ignorance and stupidity are two different things. you have to take into account that not everyone is acquainted with transgender people. it's different to them, and when something is new or different, you just want to know. not everyone means to offend. allow some leeway and don't be so harsh. as turned off as you are by bad questions, some are turned off by people treating them like they're stupid because they're curious by something new. |
