God, every time I see Lanois' convulsive playing it takes me back to the first time I ever saw him. Anyone remember that PBS series, Sessions at West 54th--or something? That's where I fell in love with his sound. I've got it on VHS somewhere and it's time for another listen, lol.

Perfect song for Willie. The one who is driving the song is Lanois. It's his the whole way through. The only better version is of Lanois singing it. Good version on Acadie.

I love how Willie is clearly pushing his vocals to the limit, and Lanois' jumpy, impassioned guitar work.

isn't it great how willie brings a little bit of chaos to a song that they all know, maybe too well. and the way emmy-lou follow him, every breath... just awesome

After they filmed, Willie bent her over and put the blocks to her and then autographed her face with man gravy.

Nice real nice. All of them. Liked Daniel Lanois burning them strings at the end. Beautiful song and inspirational words to match.

A very cool song. The guitarist is the man.
