Maybe those two guys had been sort of following her and her parents wanted to protect her. This is my theory. I think that is how the song is though.

Okay it finally makes sense. I saw the video like 5 times before it made sense.Okay so she knew that there was something weird about her, and I think her parents know this too because they move around a lot and this could be it. But she knows she is different and at first, she trusts the guy, who is then freaked out. When she runs into those two guys at the end she is clearly surprised, but happy that they are like her.
