I just love the symbolism! Poor Maria has been cast away and so comes this sort of 'whore of Babylon', symbolised in her whole get up and the five headed dragon statue. Amazing! They were so ahead of their time! The appocolyptic symbolism is to die for. I wonder if everyone picks it up. It must have been a sensation in its time.

This doesn't look as old as it actually is. The soundtrack and the robot would have me believe it was made in the 60's.So this was very ahead of it's time. I wonder what audiences thought of it then.

I absolutely love these films. This is a work of art in film. They really don't make anything like this anymore. It's a real shame how profit obsessed the filn industry has become. I wish people were making things like this. |
