Used cars from hand to hand: the site of the famous newspaper will help you choose the four-wheel friend.
Group of British researchers experimenting with a cyborg - a robot controlled with 300 000 neurons from embryonic rat brain.
The scientists said their experiments desire to deal with Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's.
The neurons of rat brain living in a container with constant temperature and transmit impulses robot via Bluetooth. Robot learns to bend around obstacles and get used to their environment. Once this is achieved, scientists plan to destroy the memory of the robot and, in trying to gradually recover this loss of mental abilities, to find reasons and ways to treat diseases such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's.
One of the fundamental issues confronting neurologists today - is how we link the activity of individual neurons with the complex behaviors that we see in whole organisms,
- Said Dr Ben Whalley, a neuroscientist from the University of Reading, conducting research.
