Google finds Atlantis
Bernie Bamford, a British aeronautical engineer, believes he may have found the legendary city of Atlantis on the ocean floor.
Helped him to find the lost city service Google Earth.
With the help of Google Earth, he found at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean to the next grid square is almost correct. The mysterious footprint was found in 620 miles west of Africa's called Madeira Abyssal Plane.

Atlantis experts said that an unexplained footprint found in one of the possible sites to find the legendary island, as described by Greek philosopher Plato. According to Plato, the Lost City sank in the ocean after the people of the city was unable to defeat Athens around 9000 BC.
According to Dr Charles Orser, curator of historical archeology at New York University "This place is one of the most famous of the proposed location of Atlantis, according to the description of Plato."
Google, however, believes that the image is simply an artifact of the data collection process.
